What makes Fohow Aloe Gel special?

Fohow Aloe Gel is not an ordinary aloe vera gel. It is a complex dermatological formula, in which Aloe barbadensis — recognized for millennia for its healing and regenerating properties for the skin — is enhanced by three leading ingredients of modern cosmetics: beta-glucans (deep cellular hydration), sodium hyaluronate (water retention and skin volume) and allantoin (regeneration and soothing). The result is a multi-action gel with superior performance compared to products with simple aloe.

Hormone-free, synthetic fragrance-free, pigment-free — a clean formula, suitable even for sensitive or reactive skin.

Daily use — can be applied regularly, on the face and body, without risk of sensitization or skin overload.

Multifunctional — hydration, soothing, regeneration, post-exposure care, first aid for irritated or damaged skin.

Benefits for the skin

Hydration, plumping and skin barrier

Intense and long-lasting hydration

The combination of sodium hyaluronate, glycerin and propylene glycol creates a three-level hydration system: sodium hyaluronate attracts water into the deep layers of the dermis, glycerin retains it at the surface, while propylene glycol facilitates the penetration of moisture into the epidermis.

Restoration of the skin barrier

Beta-glucans and aloe vera extract restore and strengthen the natural lipid barrier of the skin — the protective layer that prevents transepidermal water loss (TEWL). A healthy barrier means skin more resistant to external factors and less reactive.

Skin volume and firmness

Sodium hyaluronate can bind up to 1,000× its weight in water, filling the intercellular "spaces" in the dermis and creating the visible effect of fuller, smoother skin with fine lines attenuated. The effect is cumulative with regular use.

Skin smoothness and flexibility

The gel restores the smoothness and flexibility of the skin, correcting irregular texture caused by dehydration, exposure to environmental factors or aging. Aloe barbadensis and allantoin contribute to a uniform skin surface that is velvety to the touch.

Soothing and regeneration

Soothing skin discomfort

Aloe barbadensis extract and dipotassium glycyrrhizate (derived from licorice root) have powerful anti-inflammatory properties, soothing redness, irritation, itching and the burning sensation — regardless of their cause.

Natural skin regeneration

Allantoin stimulates the proliferation of keratinocytes (skin cells) and accelerates healing, contributing to the rapid recovery of the skin after cuts, scratches, minor burns or other minor injuries. It promotes cellular renewal without leaving visible scars.

Sunburns and minor scalds

The cold gel texture and active extracts from Aloe barbadensis provide rapid soothing of sunburns, kitchen burns or scalds. Aloe vera can reduce solar erythema and accelerates the restoration of skin damaged by UV radiation.

Cuts and scratches

Allantoin accelerates epithelialization (the formation of the new skin layer) at the level of cuts and superficial scratches. Aloe vera extract creates a natural protective film that keeps the area hydrated, promoting tissue regeneration without excessive crusting.

Insect bites and ulcerations

The gel has effects on ulcerations and rashes caused by insect bites, reducing local swelling, redness and itching. Dipotassium glycyrrhizate and aloe vera inhibit local inflammatory mediators, rapidly soothing the skin reaction.

Post-shaving and post-hair removal effect

Aloe vera and allantoin soothe sensitive skin after shaving or hair removal, reducing redness, burning and folliculitis (ingrown hairs). Beta-glucans restore the skin barrier traumatized by the mechanical hair removal process.

Complexion, acne and facial care

Acne and oily skin — sebum regulation

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate and Aloe vera reduce the inflammation of pilosebaceous follicles and regulate sebum production. The light gel texture hydrates without clogging pores — essential for oily or combination skin, where classic moisturizers can worsen acne.

Blackheads and enlarged pores

Aloe vera and beta-glucans have an effect of reducing the appearance of enlarged pores by hydrating and toning the tissues around the follicles. Regular use contributes to a complexion with a smoother appearance and less visible pores.

Radiance and complexion evening

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate (licorice extract) inhibits tyrosinase — the enzyme involved in melanin production — contributing to the fading of pigmentation spots, evening out skin tone and restoring a radiant, renewed appearance.

Eye contour and puffiness

Sodium hyaluronate and beta-glucans applied to the periocular area hydrate and gently plump the thin skin under the eyes, attenuating the appearance of puffiness and dark circles of dehydrating origin. The light gel texture does not irritate the sensitive area.

Protection, antioxidants and anti-aging

Cutaneous antioxidant protection

Aloe barbadensis extract contains vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene and flavonoids with antioxidant activity, neutralizing free radicals generated by pollution, UV radiation and oxidative stress — the main factors of premature skin aging.

Anti-aging through deep hydration

Sodium hyaluronate and beta-glucans address the most common visible sign of aging — skin dehydration. Fine lines caused by lack of moisture are visibly reduced after a period of regular application.

Beta-glucans — skin immunomodulators

Beta-glucans activate the skin's immune system (Langerhans cells and cutaneous macrophages), stimulating the production of collagen and glycosaminoglycans — the structural constituents of the dermis that ensure the firmness and elasticity of young skin.

Reduction of redness and chronic sensitivity

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate is one of the most effective anti-redness agents available in cosmetics, approved for use in products intended for rosacea and hypersensitive skin. It can reduce persistent erythema and soothe chronic skin reactivity.

Active ingredients

Aloe barbadensis extract

Main active ingredient

Aloe barbadensis is the variety of aloe with the highest content of active compounds: acemannan (an acetylated polysaccharide with hydrating, anti-inflammatory and regenerating properties), anthraquinones, vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene, digestive enzymes (amylases, lipases) and essential amino acids. The inner gel of the leaf — used in quality cosmetics — is rich in active substances and moisture-retaining factors that hydrate, add nutrients to the skin and alleviate skin discomfort.

Acemannan: the main active compound of Aloe barbadensis, responsible for stimulating collagen, accelerating skin healing and the anti-inflammatory effect. It is a key ingredient in modern dermatology for the improvement of burns, scars and sensitive skin.

Beta-Glucans

Cutaneous biostimulator and deep moisturizer

Beta-glucans are natural polysaccharides with remarkable properties in dermatology. At the cutaneous level, they activate the skin's immune receptors, stimulate the synthesis of collagen and elastin, hydrate deeply and restore the skin barrier. They are smaller molecules than sodium hyaluronate, penetrating deeper into the epidermis and providing deep cellular hydration. Clinical studies confirm their efficacy in reducing wrinkles, improving firmness and attenuating post-UV damage.

Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid)

Super-hydrator — water retention in the skin

Sodium hyaluronate is the salt form and more stable form of hyaluronic acid — it is a molecule with a high water retention capacity found in nature (up to 1,000× its weight in water). Naturally present in the human dermis, it decreases with age. Used topically, it forms a hydrating film on the skin surface, reduces transepidermal water loss, creates the "plumping" effect (gentle swelling — meaning the effect of "full" skin) which attenuates fine lines and keeps the skin elastic, soft and with a more youthful appearance.

Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate

Anti-inflammatory and complexion evening agent

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate is derived from licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) — one of the medicinal plants with the longest history of use in traditional Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine. In cosmetics, it is recognized for its powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, anti-redness (approved for products intended for rosacea), sebum regulation, hyaluronic acid preservation, complexion evening (inhibits tyrosinase — the melanin-producing enzyme) and soothing of hypersensitive skin and reduction of inflammation.

Allantoin

Cellular regenerant and smoothing agent

Allantoin is a natural compound (present in comfrey root, sugar beet and other plants) with mild keratolytic properties (softens and detaches dead cells), cellular proliferation-stimulating and soothing properties. It is one of the cosmetic ingredients with the best tolerance profile — recommended for sensitive, irritated or compromised skin. It stimulates the repair of the epidermis after injuries, soothing of the skin in the case of burns and irritations, and helps with healing without the formation of visible scars.

Allantoin + aloe synergy: Allantoin accelerates cellular proliferation, while acemannan from aloe stimulates collagen production — together, they create a very effective duo of natural skin regeneration available in cosmetics.

Glycerin and Propylene Glycol

Humectant agents — retain moisture

Glycerin and propylene glycol are classic humectants that attract water molecules from the air and from the deeper layers of the skin, maintaining moisture in the epidermis. Glycerin is recognized for its excellent biocompatibility and for its capacity to maintain the skin's water balance in the long term. Propylene glycol also improves the penetration of other active ingredients into the skin, amplifying the efficacy of the formula.

Frequently asked questions

Can it be used daily, morning and evening?

Yes — Fohow Aloe Gel can be used regularly, both in the morning and in the evening. The formula with high-tolerance ingredients (aloe, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate) is designed for daily use, without risk of sensitization or skin overload. In the morning, it prepares the skin for external factors (pollution, UV), while in the evening, it supports natural nocturnal regeneration.

Is it suitable for acne-prone skin? Will it not clog pores?

Yes, it is suitable. The light gel texture is non-comedogenic — it does not contain oils or ingredients that clog pores. On the contrary, dipotassium glycyrrhizate and aloe vera reduce acne inflammation and can regulate sebum production, contributing to the improvement of acne-prone skin. Sodium hyaluronate hydrates without fats — an important aspect for oily skin, which often needs hydration, not oils. The gel also contributes to reducing the appearance of blackheads by improving skin texture.

Can it be applied to sunburns or scalds?

Yes — this is one of the classic uses of aloe vera gel. The cold texture of the gel provides rapid soothing, and the active compounds (acemannan from aloe, allantoin, dipotassium glycyrrhizate) reduce inflammation, attenuate redness and erythema and accelerate skin regeneration. For sunburns, apply a generous layer to the entire affected area immediately after exposure and repeat application as many times as necessary. Note: for second or third degree burns, consult a doctor.

What is the difference compared to a simple aloe gel from the market?

Fohow Aloe Gel is a complex dermatological formula, not a simple aloe gel. Compared to products that contain only aloe, Fohow Aloe Gel adds: beta-glucans (activate skin immunity and stimulate collagen), sodium hyaluronate (deep hydration and plumping effect), dipotassium glycyrrhizate (anti-inflammatory, complexion evening), allantoin (accelerated cellular regeneration) and a combination of synergistic humectants. The result is enhanced performance.

Can it also be used on children's bodies or on baby skin?

The product must not be left within the reach of children and is not intended for use on babies. For use on children, first consult a dermatologist or pediatrician. The formula is gentle, but children's skin may require individual evaluation, having different characteristics compared to adult skin.

Can it be used as a moisturizer under makeup?

Yes — the light gel texture and rapid absorption make it ideal as a hydration base before applying foundation. The gel prepares the skin, hydrates it without a greasy layer and creates a smoother and more even surface for makeup. Allow the gel to absorb completely (2–3 minutes) before applying makeup products.

How long does a tube last and how many uses does it offer?

A 50g tube provides approximately 30–50 uses, depending on the amount applied and the skin surface area. For daily facial use, a tube lasts an average of 3–5 weeks. For use on larger body surfaces or repeated targeted applications, the duration may be shorter. We recommend purchasing 2–3 tubes for a complete monthly skincare routine.
