How long does a Fohow massage session last?
A Fohow massage session lasts approximately between 30 and 50 minutes. The standard massage protocols include a preset number of maneuvers performed along the meridians, each with a set number of repetitions, which add up to a period of time between 30 and 50 minutes.
How many times per week is the device used?
For optimal effects, at least 2-3 sessions per week are recommended. Many users choose to use it daily for maintaining their state of wellbeing.
Is it safe? Does it have side effects?
The Fohow Yang Sheng Meridians Massager is completely safe. It holds the conformity certificates required by European Union regulations for electrical devices (CE and RoHS). Are there any contraindications?
Yes, there are certain contraindications and precautionary measures for the use of the Fohow massage device:
- If the client is skeptical toward the procedure and does not wish to interact with the specialist performing the massage.
- Tumors, hematosis, infectious diseases, mental disorders affecting lucidity or the ability to reason, severe heart disease, severe pathologies of the brain and lungs.
- Bone fractures, hemorrhages and predisposition to hemorrhages, hemophilia, ruptures of muscles, tendons and ligaments, intervertebral foramen stenosis, severe osteoporosis, purulent arthritis, skin lesions, open wounds, ulcers, furuncles, abscesses, severe dermatological conditions or skin infections in the treated area.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding period, postnatal hemorrhages, menstruation period.
- Senile weakness, overexertion, excessive hunger, immediately after a period of fasting. The use of the bioenergetic massage device is not recommended sooner than half an hour after a meal, and after a massage session it is recommended that the first meal be consumed at least half an hour afterward.
- For a minimum of two hours after the procedure, do not consume cold or stimulating food and beverages, do not wash your hands in cold water, and do not shower.
- Prohibited in cases of alcohol intoxication or consumption of hallucinogenic substances.
- Arterial hypertension (above 160 mmHg systolic, above 120 mmHg diastolic), cardiac surgical interventions, presence of a cardiac pacemaker and other implants.
- In the case of calculi, when the diameter of the stone exceeds the diameter of the canal of the affected organ.
- Children up to the age of 8.
- Use of the device during a storm or atmospheric electrical discharges is not recommended.
